Popping onto the the Utah music scene with catchy riffs and memorable hooks, The Eric Openshaw Band is a blend of music with roots in jazz, blues and funk and with a main focus on alternative rock. Begun in Salt Lake City, Utah, during the summer of 2005, The Eric Openshaw Band was originally only Eric, an acoustic guitar, and a couple of rough songs. Since then though, it has evolved and taken shape from spare time music to a fully functional musical endeavor. Every member is active and contributes his own individual flavor, whether it be Thomas' solid pocket, Rob's tantilizing low end or Eric's smooth guitar sounds and one of a kind vocals.
Currently the band consists of Eric Openshaw on guitar and vox, Thomas Sienko on drums and Rob Alvord on bass.
The Eric Openshaw Band is currently mixing and mastering their first album that will be out soon.
