It seems that almost everyone who requests IrishUnsigned be added to their friends list, if they are in a band, then almost instantly send us a message asking for us to do something for them, such as give them a gig.It also seems like these bands etc have not taken the time to at least look at our site and see what it is we do, why, and for whom.It's not only the 'new' friends. You are more likely to need our assistance if you are about to start recording, have a CD about to be released, have legal or managerial issues you need advice on or are just curious about the sort of strategy you should adopt to the Irish music industry. When we get involved in gigs, they are usually gig-swap arrangements, CD launches or other band-related events.Bands have to prove themselves to be supportive of the whole music community, rather than just looking for something.
