About Me

When a band member leaves a band, everyone thinks its over, what are you going to do? Sometimes when that happens its the end of the road for that band but sometimes things like this can turn out for the better like in Slow Rush With many members coming and going, young rock group Slow Rush didnt know what was going on. Now standing strong as a mixed 4 piece from Dublin/Meath, Ireland consisting of 2 girls and 2 guys. Niamh Madden- Drums Kate Walls - Guitar/Vox Ian Kenny - Guitar Josh Joyce - Bass/vox Many teenagers form groups and bands to do something when they are bored, but Slow Rush are taking the whole thing very seriously. Every members love for music shows in their songwriting skills, creating music like no other, making the music their own, with catchy lyrics to get anybody excited and involved. With their first song released on 7digitalindistore selling fast they are eager to get more songs recorded. With an EP planned for the start of the new year they are giving all their time to rehearsing and writing. Slow Rush have played many known places around Dublin including The Leagle Eagle, The Vaults, D2 Harcourt Street, The Seamus Ennis Center and Garageland. They are working on growing their fan base around Ireland and plan to play many gigs out side their local countys after the Ep release early next year. This fun loving band is certainly a band to watch out for! Keep the name Slow Rush in mind.
