Diversity Day Defined April 20, 2006 10am to 2pm SUB PatioThe celebration is meant to be a day where students, faculty and the community can educate eachother and celebrate their uniqueness.D3 is an event created by a group of students, with support from the Cultural Center and the Women's Center. The event will feature guest speakers, musicians, informational tables and free food. Diversity is defined loosely here, and incorporates, various religions, all cultural organizations on campus, National organization for the Mentally Ill, BGLAD, Single Parents Club, Agency for New Americans, Women's and children's Alliance, Volunteer Services board, and many others.

Thank you to everyone for adding us to your friends list, and for you support of our mission. We couldnt have put on this event without your help. We hope this event lives on, and people see the importance of understanding different cultures, perspectives and experiences. Thank you to everyone who showed up and signed our pledge to respect diversity.
