Anyone insterested in volunteering at events such as football games, concerts, holiday parties and other social work related activities, students of social work, faculty, etc... You don't have to be a social work student to participate, we think it would be incredible if you posted a bulliten to invite any of your friends who might be interested in keeping up with the OSSW.

Television:
As officers your OSSW board members will be coming around to the Junior and Senior Social Work classes to inroduce ourselves and to invite you to join the organization and participate in membership, we also encourage you to become a member of Phi Alpha the Honor Society for the Social Work department. We will look for information on who your board representatives for NASW are and encrouage you to become students members of this national organization. We intend to keep in contact with Social Work students through this myspace page, posts on Blackboard, classroom visits, polls, elections, picture statements, meetings and organizational events. Your officers will be attending the BSU Getting Organized meeting. There will be posts on myspace for upcoming events as well as a calendar on Bb announcing meetins and events. The secretary has agreed to post minutes on Bb, we will alternate meeting days so both juniors and seniors can participate. We intend to sell social work shirts again this year. We will be looking for a liason for the Day of the Child event, we will be making committees for some of our events.
Books:
Some of the things that the OSSW does: we organize the Agency for New Americans Holiday Dinner, which includes many facets and is a pretty big deal, we plan to continue in the tradition of the annual silent auction, there is an annual Social Work conference which we will be looking for feed back on at the first meeting.
