Beverly

01915 - Bringing it since 1626!

About Me

I am the birthplace of the United States Navy and Washington's Naval Base. Beverly Hills, CA was named after me. Seriously. At one point I was called Beaverly, which is sort of cool... I was once a part of Salem, but as far as I know I had nothing to do with all that witch stuff. I am home to the longest running resident magic show in the world (Look it up in the Guinness Book!!) and the second-largest performing arts organization in MA - North Shore Music Theatre! I am home to Montserrat College of Art, Endicott College, one of the North Shore Community College campuses, and ALMOST home to Gordon College. I'm huge in Belgium. I have an airport, by the way.

My Interests

Being awesome. Turkey paninis from Atomic Cafe. Mingo Gallery and Custom Framing - that's a handsome framing family! Having randomly named intersections like Kenniston Square and Gloucester Crossing. The "new" Beverly/Salem Bridge - not that I care about going to Salem. Reminiscing about The Old Shoe. Lobster Fest at Lynch Park. Daring people to go inside the Lighthouse Lounge (RIP!). Getting wicked cheap popcorn and soda at Cabot Cinema. Dick and June's. Breakfast at Michelle's Place. One Stop markets. Gardens (I am, after all the Garden City). Seeing shows at North Shore Music Theatre. Kristen's Specials from Tapas. 24-Hour CVS. Having lots and lots of places to get my nails done. Balloons on Cabot Street parking meters. The Pickled Onion during Red Sox playoff games. Barter Brothers' Florist and Ward's! Lying on the grass at Dane Street beach. Ryal Side Pride. Mafia pizza. Kitty O'Shea's - especially cozying up to the fire during blizzards. The Lucky Dog's jukebox. SOMA and staff. Lynch Park. Beverly Arts Fest. Go Panthers! Wind turbines. Oh, and MAGIC.
