Are we all met?

About Me

Hey! We're open to any Shakespeare loving types here on myspace, so share the love: add us, forward us, tell us who you are! We're a cool Shakespeare Theatre Company on the North Shore of Massachusetts (Salem, to be exact). We've been around for almost 20 years, but we look way older. We love our long wild summers, hanging out with our actors, sharing the magic of "Shaxpere". Shakespeare's the MAN. We have a stage by the sea and kick-butt actors all under the age of 18. Our shows are always FREE to the public. Because, you know, Art WAKES UP SLEEPERS! If you wanna know more, u can check out our website: www.RebelShakespeare.org.We are always happy to meet new actors, provided they are under 18! We take trips to visit Will's hometown of Stratford-Upon-Avon every year, where we do workshops with the Royal Shakespeare Company, RADA & Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. We've been written up in a few magazines, which you can check out by googling us. Make sure you post a comment to say hi before leaving our page.So...."Away, away! once more, sweet lords farewell!"

My Interests

Acting, building stages out of matchsticks and bubblegum, chasing racoons out of trashcans, gridwork in 100 degree heat, shrines that lead you into the ocean, thunderstorms, trolleys, and first-aid kits.

I'd like to meet:

All my old theatre buddies, Edward De Vere, Sir John Geilgud, the person who stole our company camera and Matty Shutzer's swords, people who applaud loudly, a wild and whirling costume designer, money-lenders.

Music:

Songs by Ophelia, Desdemona, Amiens, the Midsummer fairies...Some: When daffodils begin to peer,Under the Greenwood Tree,She bore him Bare-faced ,The Lusty Horn, Who is Silvia?

Movies:

Old and New Shakespeare movies, movies based on Shakespeare, movies that mention Shakespeare, movies that document Shakespeare's life, movies that use lines from Shakespeare... Here are some: Looking for Richard, A Midwinter's Tale, O, Ten Things I Hate About You, She's the Man,

Television:

Are u kidding? Who wants television when u can have LIVE THEATRE? Get out and tread the boards!
