Totally into designing and making jewelry these days. It's meditative and satisfies a creative need.Other interests are live music, reading, hanging out with friends, walking, biking, swimming, volleyball, baseball, travel esp roadtrips with the feministas.

Currently I see a lot of G and PG movies because of the kids, but one of my long time "old" favs is Thelma and Louise. For a "newer" (ha) off-the-wall fav it's Office Space (ha ha). I plan to be a movie slut in a few years.
Hardly ever get a chance to watch TV. I predict this is another pasttime I'll get into post kids.
Read as time allows, which seems to be before going to bed. I'm into female authors mostly. I like our style, voice, and attitude. With that said, I like mysteries, biographies, some non-fiction. Mystery authors I've read include Dana Cameron and Janet Evanovich (two sides of the spectrum?).
A long time hero of mine is Lucy Stone. She was one of the first women to keep her birth name (in the first wave, in the 1800s). My current, personal heros, for different reasons, are two of my best friends in the world: Jan Boyd, and Carrick Arehart.
