You Are Animal
A complete lunatic, you're operating on 100% animal instincts.
You thrive on uncontrolled energy, and you're downright scary.
But you sure can beat a good drum.

aaah, far too many! Horror (but not the korean kind, thats a bit too intense for my overactive imagination, plus little girls in horror films are ALWAYS frightening for some reason...), sci-fi stuff like 5th element or serenity, the odd war film (particularly keen on Vietnam Movies), fantasy stuff (Lord of the rings obviously but also the old 80s things like The Labyrinth...that storm outside is still going by the way...) and anything else that takes my fancy (Monsters inc for example, is an utterly fantastic film!) also the pirates of the carribbean trilogy, now that i've seen all three! oh my word, as Rob said, they've managed to do a whole trilogy without fucking it up!
Dont really watch it. I'd love to say something artsy and intellectual like 'it supresses the intellect of the masses' or something equally emotentious, but to be fair I dont watch it A.) coz i had no reception for ages and got out of the habit and B.) coz its nearly all toss.
(further to previous announcement, wud like to say that have recently been watching Battlestar Galactica series which is absolutely excellent, HUGE underlying political themes, and American Dad, which is a little more blatant...)
HOWEVER...Just recently myself and Emma have majorly got into Lost due to getting hold of series one and two and watching them pretty much obsessively...how fuckin good is that program!?

Again, far FAR too many. I love sci-fi in small doses, particularly stuff by Dan Abnett, Graham McNeil, Sandy Mitchel, Peter F. Hamilton and a couple of others. My big favourite is fantasy, but in particular the darker, more gothic stuff. In particular I'm very keen on a genre generally referred to as Steampunk (for those who don't know, its sort of victorian/medieval fantasy sci-fi, using u to date or even futuristic technology and settings but translated into wood, iron and steam.) This mingles with my love for the grotesque in such things, so I am totally in love with settings like those used by China Mieville in 'Perdido Street Station' and 'The Scar' (two of the best books I've ever read, total dark escapism...) I'm also quite keen on the odd historical book, usually military stuff like 'Stalingrad', although I've the attention span of a flat-packed budgie so tend to stop reading before i've finished these.
Just recently, Emma has also got me into mr Neil Gaiman, who I have to say is an awesome author! For anyone who hasnt read American Gods, read it read it read it!Invader Zim BEES!
