About Me

Hello. I do freelance writing, compulsive doodling, and I'm the author of Concrete to Canvas: skateboarders' Art and Concrete 2 Canvas: More Skateboarders' Art featuring all new artists.
I also have a brand new blog at http://www.jowaterhouse.blogspot.com that features news of Con to Can artists and where I post updates of my latest writing work for Modart Magazine and Document +1 Magazine , where I interview artists.
For more info on the new book see my website: www.concretetocanvas.co.uk
I'm also working on this: www.thisisours.co.uk and I'm co-curating the gallery space at Spine Skate Shop in Worcester.
Concrete to Canvas: Skateboarders' Art and Concrete 2 Canvas: More Skateboarders' Art bring together a wide variety of artwork produced solely by artists who are skateboarders.
The books include examples of fine art, illustration, graphic design, street art, paintings, doodles and installation. The artwork itself does not necessarily relate directly to skateboarding in anyway, as the object of the book is to showcase the personal artwork of artists who happen to be skateboarders, whatever form that artwork may take. For lists of contributing artists from both books and links to their websites see: www.concretetocanvas.co.uk
