the Kambourines

...a melody line to keep the devil at bay...

About Me

The Kambourines consist primarily of two Norwegians turned Scousers who make melody ridden, harmony laden, countrified pop-folk that would make most peoples toes curl! Ragnhild, (lead vocal and tambourine shaker), has a voice that would make a stone shiver. Endre, (lead vocal and guitar), provides the male side of the band and the best dancing legs ever witnessed by human eyes. Live, they are usually accompanied by bass and mandolin etc, although the combination of their voices alone is worth going to see. For fans of Gram Parsons & Emmylou Harris or Saturday Night Fever, (Endre's legs), this band is a must!! -The Wombats
