About Me

since my myspace was HACKED i have to create this mess alllllll over again...so without further delay....I graduated from Drew University in '05 with a degree in Sociology and a triple minor in African Studies, English, and American Studies. Now that i've got my degree and a steady and a somewhat rewarding (at times) job, I have been able to focus my life on what I truly love....music. Yesiree, I am an up and coming singer from Jersey. Music is my life as well as my first and my only true love. My sound u ask? Some say I sound a lil like Mary...I say im just me...with an R & B vibe touched with a kiss of modern sass. And yes...a true artist writes their own music :)... MUSIC = LIFE...hopefully u'll all be hearing from me in the near future. Look for my music page coming soon....

My Interests

Obviously...singing. Also like to dance, read, write, sleep, shop, spend time with the fam and friends,...hell ima happy go lucky girl, soo many things are interesting, especially if they involve being outdoors.

I'd like to meet:

Im a people person...im here for FRIENDS ONLY (and hopefully future fans). Thus, i pretty much accept all friend requests...However, I hate the glorification of drugs and violence...so if thats all ur page and friendship is about then i can do without...no offense.

Music:

I love it all....really, i do...im eclectic...just to name a few of my favs...Luther Vandross, Mos Def, Common, Nirvana, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Aerosmith, Aaliyah, Mary J, Mr. Cheeks, Tupac, Jocelyn Enriquez, Phil Collins, Elton John, NeYo, Vesta Williams, Guns N' Roses, Karyn White, Musiq, The Dells, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Fray, etc etc etc.

Men of Honor, Memoirs of a Geisha, Lean on Me, American History X, Bronx Tale, THE NOTEBOOK.

Television:

The Cosby Show, Fresh Prince, MSNBC (Especially the show LOCKUP), Deadliest Catch, Man vs. Wild, In Living Color

Books:

My Bloody Life: The Making of a Latin King, Monster, NewJack, The Gift of Fear, All Gods Children Need Traveling Shoes, Sidewalk, Waiting, and some more really great ones.

Heroes:

My mom...for having the strength to do what she felt was best for my sister and i growing up, even when all options seemed hopeless. God...for giving me strength when i was tried and tried....and MYSELF---for being able to take that strength and pull MYSELF through my childhood and past my adversities, despite those against me.
