Beaver Studio's boutique label Hoof Records has recently signed Upper Hutt rapper AL. Appearing on over a dozen mixtapes and albums over the years, the Wellington artist is a respected underground hip hop MC.AL first came to the attention of NZ On Air with a blazin' demo, which was then touched by the midas hands of production duo the Misfits Of Science, who are currently producing AL's debut full-lengther. A registered heavy fabricator by trade, AL brings his day job to the small-screen with his Luke Sharpe directed welding video.
