i've had the chance to play in some cool venues in San Francisco including Mighty, Mezzanine, The Endup, Anu, Shine, 111 Minna and a number of underground spots as well, but now my focus is on production. Some of the more notable electronic acts I've been fortunate to open or close for are Switch (aka Solid Groove), Diplo, Booka Shade, Adam Freeland, LTJ Bukem, Dylan Rhymes and Meat Katie.
Funk Fundamentals
I was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Houston and Austin, TX where in the late 80s and early 90s, hip hop, funk, soul and reggae were my first major influences, mostly because of my older brother. When I landed in the SF Bay area in the summer of 2000, electronic music became my aural fix after meeting a few heads in the scene who showed me around. I started DJing because i love this music so much! Breakbeat is where i started off and now it's all come full circle back to somewhere in the middle of tech house, minimal techno funk, tech nasty, UK crunk, techno and steppy / chunky electro. peep my last two mixes on my website: edropsbeats.com
