The ARTS as a means of self-expression, as a means of personal, cultural and community development... Arts as healing, sharing, learning, and giving... I have a preference for the Performing Arts in particular... Song and Dance is my style... MuSIc! MusiC! MusiC that brings you Joy, pain, ChAos and Peace*Second best has to be Literature... Oral and written... I love reading/hearing/seeing good stuff...Also into film (although I don't know much about cinema... I'm always a bit oblivious when it comes to names, dates, and other important things to film-lovers)And Politics.... erm... Mmm... Into it, but in a different way... I see politics (or a dynamics of power) in almost everything... I believe that all things in life are political... What else??I like having good conversations that make me see things in a new light... conversations that make me laugh -and cry (sometimes)And Children... they're so true, so pure, so clear... They have so much to teach... I admire their magic... I love them, love them, love them all! Prefer them to adults sometimes...Ultimately, I'm into all things real... Although I love dreaming too... Dreams get you by the reality and also inspire actual change... They're necessary, vital... We must never stop dreaming, people!
Cool, relaxed people...
I'm into all Africa-derived sounds... From Afro beat, through to son and rumba, to funk and soul (and, of course, neo-soul) I appreciate the vastness and richness of those music/s which over here have been piled under the generic tag of 'World Music'... I'm into flamenco, into cuban styles, into samba and bossa nova, fusion music that borrows from a plentiful source... and so much more...I'm into jazz... Love it right from the early days to the 50's... And then I also love all its fusion styles... I'm into electronic music with SOUL, I love my broken beatz to boogie down... Me also like good hip hop, with heavy beats and heavy lyrics... And reggae from the Jamaica-born greats... Marley, the Maytals, Lee Scratch Perry (Soul Jazz Records does amazing compilations), into the Blues.... I'm into, intra, inter... I'm in music... I dig all styles which maintain (and convey) a certain aura of soul and depth... Music that makes you feel... and Groove! Cause there's nothing wrong with grooving!!

Good Mothers... Empowering women... People who know themselves and take time to know others... All the freedom-fighters that wage their struggle/s without much recognition... All the people that do something (good) cause they belive in it and it needs to be done -and not cause they wannna feel like they're 'better people'... All my friends (including my big sis and my little bro) who I never stop admiring... My papi (dad) and my many 'mothers'...
