Relative Depth è il progetto musicale nato dall'incontro di Claudio Mastroddi, DjAndryu e Steve Aftertouch. In pochi anni i "relativi" sono riusciti a guadagnarsi un posto di tutto rispetto nel panorama dance italiano. Dall'esordio in vinile su Emotiva records con "Elektropatia", inclusa nella chart "Italian Dance" di Discomix, alle collaborazioni con Paprika, Presslab/Remud, Composure (UK), Tapaz e 4th Room, fino alla creazione di progetti paralleli (Midnight Express, R.D.P., Minus Inside, FCM. Project) esplorando diversi generi e suoni e collaborandon con The Family, The Flame, Aftermind e Tracks4dj records.
Ed è proprio l'eclettismo e il background musicale estremamente vario di Andryu, Claudio e Steve a far si che i Relative Depth siano considerati uno dei gruppi emergenti più interessanti in Italia. La loro attività in studio è finalizzata anche alla produzione di esibizioni live coinvolgenti ed energiche, durante le quali i Relative suonano propri lavori e rielaborano in tempo reale pezzi di altri artisti. Vantano collaborazioni con diversi staff ed hanno partecipato a numerosi eventi di portata nazionale ed internazionale. Ultimo in ordine di data il "Surround Festival" dove i Relative Depth hanno fatto da "apripista" a Trentemoller e la sua band.
Relative Depth was founded by Claudio Mastroddi, DjAndryu and Steve Aftertouch. In a little time, "relative" boys gained a respect place across italian dance environment. Their debut 12", "Elektropatia" on Emotiva Records, was included into "Italian Dance" chart on Discomix. Then Paprika, Presslab/Remud, Composure, 4th Room remixes and releases and creation of parallel projects (Midnight Express, R.D.P., Minus Inside, FCM Project) exploring different sounds and styles and working with The Family, The Flame, Aftermind and Tracks4dj.
Just this eclectism and this varied musical background of Andryu, Claudio and Steve, make Relative Depth considered as one of the most interesting bands in Italy. Their studio work is finalized to make fresh and energetic live exhibitions, playing "relative" tracks and other artist's tracks. They collaborated and got involved in various organizations and national/international events. Last gig, "Surround Festival", Relative Depth opened Trentemoller in concert exhibition.
