There’s always more to learn - fifteen years have passed since my introduction to playing music by way of a well-travelled and battered acoustic guitar. Over time I’ve progressed to projects playing drums and bass guitar and delving into the world of digital synthesis and recording. From an early focus on rock music, recent years have seen the progression of experiments in a wider soundscape, exploring genres such as electro, triphop, jazz and hiphop (check www.myspace.com/kidsenemies for more info).
My studio is the hub of my creativity where I record most of my work, and I’ve had the fortune to work with a number of talented musicians in the Hampshire area on collaberative projects - a track I recorded and produced with ’The Visitors’ (www.myspace.com/thevisitorsuk) is now on the PS3 demo units found in HMV and similar stores internationally through a distribution deal with Sony.
On the performance front, I play drums for Hold Fast (check www.myspace.com/holdfast), a punk-electro-rock outfit with influences by the likes of NIN, Depeche mode, Joy Division, M83 and Amusement Parks on Fire.
