About Me

Check out this commercial I was in.

Sometimes my best work comes from procrastination. This update is a diversion to something else I should be doing (i.e. studying). I'll start out with what I like to do. My passion is cars. Any automobile you could buy from a dealership, I'm into: from the $10,000 Chevy Aveo to the $1.4 million Lamborghini Reventon, I dig them all. Once you slap a mod on that shit, I'm still interested, but not passionate about it. My past 4.3 years in college have been designed to put me in the workforce dealing with my passion. My ultimate goal is to become the future number-one automotive journalist in North America. I refrain from stating a global target because Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear on the BBC has the market cornered in the U.K. and beyond. Once I reach my North-American target, I will pursue replacing Clarkson as the world's best car buff.
Radio is another passion of mine and I work in that field already as my full-time gig. I work for the promotions department at 97.1 (KLSX) Free FM--Southern California's FM Talk Station. I write a lot of the commercials you hear on air and I manage all the station's prizes/giveaways. I'm also the guy responsible for all the starving interns. Our station's got Adam Carolla and Danny Bonaduce in the morning; Frosty, Heidi and Frank in the daytime; Tom Leykis in afternoon drive, and my favorite show of all time ... Conway and Whitman at night--those guys are the reason I work there. It is a dream job, just not the ultimate dream job; however, part of my job is getting to go to the Playboy mansion four times a year, so I guess I'm doing all right.
On Saturdays I make my play money washing plumbing vans. I like doing that too because it gives me the opportunity to wash my own car: a 2008 Mazda 3 Five Door with leather, Bose, sunroof, xenon headlights, rain-sensing wipers, head-curtain airbags, heated seats, stability control, traction control and some other cool stuff. It's a cool car, but I still want my A4. I've got a Mustang GT Convertible on the side yard, but I was tired of blowing all my money on the upkeep, so I'll restore it in 10 years maybe.
I've noticed since my newfound yoga experience that I can hit the higher notes when I sing. I'm not a great singer, but I really do enjoy it. I also take joy from getting on the dance floor and letting all the pretty ladies surround me as I let the long hair down. I enjoy my track days in corporate-funded auto company marketing non-traditional revenue events. You can see some clips of that in all my videos to the left. Going out to dinner with friends is a major pastime for me. An occasional deep conversation is always nice too.
My future is bright. Before the end of next year, I will be living in London. I consider myself international. I was there for a month last year and I felt at home the minute I saw my first batch of Rovers, Skodas, MG's, Renaults, Peugeots, Citroens, Seats, Lancias, Fiats, Alfa Romeos and basically all the cars that aren't sold here in the states.
I am happy you've made it this far. I would like to thank Joseph W. Brown, Attorney-at-Law, for giving me the inspiration to write my novel. Now back to studying.

My Interests

The car or truck you drive.

I enjoy a story set in modern times. I like a movie that teaches you things. I like a movie that gets you thinking. Thinking creates power from within.

Television:

Family Guy is so funny. It's nice to know that people can turn on their TV for 30 minutes and allow their spirits to lift.

Books:

I hope to read more soon. Books will help me to inspire others.

Heroes:

Jeremy Clarkson and Tiff Needell for their relentlessness in informing and entertaining the masses.
