About Me

As you can tell Skinny Puppy are a huge influence on me. Their music, from the first time I heard it, changed me. Finally this was the music I was looking for.I remember seeing the cover for Remission at a record store. I instantly was enthralled by it. And the name...SKINNY PUPPY...what the hell was this! I bought it of course and I was hooked.I've had a few chances to see the Pups but somehow missed them each time. The first chance was in 1985 (I think) in Regina, Sask. Next one was Expo 86 in Vancouver another miss. The inbetween years were spent working and caring for my Grandparents. Then the deaths came...first my entire family, then Dwayne Goetell, and finally my favourite band. 2000 came in with a rumour of a reunion show and left with the birth of my daughter and the rebirth of a band. My next miss was in Montreal 2004. I was planning to fly out to Montreal after the sale of my house went through. Well, the Montreal and Toronto shows came and went and I still haven't seen them live.Next tour I guess....So if anyone has any cool stories about Skinny Puppy or you just want to tell me how great they are...please do...because I feel the same way.BRAP ON..........
