One word is all it takes to describe My Shadow; INTENSE! Playing a unique style of metal, they set themselves apart from other local artists. Their music flows from old school, to new school, from Americanized metal, to European.My Shadow shapes their music to anything and everything that inspires them, providing a unique and full range of powerful songs. Having been categorized as power metal by some, aggressive metal by others, they believe simply that what they play is powerful metal.One thing that the members of the band do not lack is experience. Having all been in previous bands, they have used these learning experiences to each bring their best foot forward to My Shadow. Mistakes have been made, arguments have happened and friendships have been lost but this is all part of how "My Shadow" was born.Each member brings an extraordinary amount of creativity to the band, which helps to achieve the desired perfection for their own creations. When a song is put on the table, it is analyzed, re-analyzed, cut to pieces and then re-assembled to create this perfect blend of excellence. As My Shadow is currently writing their first album, this process is put to the test, and is passing with flying coloursThe band as a whole is headstrong with a common goal and will work hard to accomplish their dreams.
