North Shore singer/songwriter Stephen Jeffery brings his band Spirathon to Sonar (66 Water St.) tonight to launch hs new CD Green Olympics - a protest song challenging the destruction of Eagleridge bluff and the Larson Wetlands.
Spirathon Launches new protest CD at Sonar
In the grand tradition of
Neil Young, North Shore singer/songwriter Stephen Jeffery has released a new protest song, Green Olympics, challenging the destruction of the Eagleridge Bluffs and the Larson Wetlands.
He will launch the new Cd with a show tonight at Sonar (66 Water St.)featuring his full band and opener Carolyna Loveless. Doors open at 7pm with a $6 cover charge.
Jeffery and his band will perform the new song plus tunes from Spirathon's Debut Album produced by Grapes of Wrath's Kevin Kane and featuring Young and Sexy's Lucy Brain on three tracks as well as Flophouse Jr's John Wood on lap steel and Matt Brain of the Paperboys on drums.
