Ciao mi amici! I'm Gino Esposito!

About Me

Hi! I am Gino Esposito, play writer and hairdresses extrordinaire. I own the simply fabulous salon in the Lassiter's complex in Erinsborough, Australia. I bought my salon (A Good Hair Day) back in 2001. Hairdressing was always a passion of mine and I won 'Apprentice of the year' when I was younger! The salon was doing terribly and the manager Lyn was doing her best but bless her, she's not a businesswoman at heart. The past owner Katrina Hart let the salon go downhill. But Gino to the rescue with my passion, flair and skills, the salon is doing well again. That Lyn wouldn't accept that I was the owner and she was just the worker, so we had a competition to see who was better, and I won (easily). She had too much on with her inbred family and couldnt handle being the bottom woman she she quit and tried to steal my clients with her own business, the cheek! So I blackmailed her (using my mafia roots), but she knew my biggest secret, the one that would destroy my name if people found out, ARGH. So I was forced to accept her resignation and her new business. Then when she set the business up, she didnt have a licence so I dobbed on her to the Planning Office and she got busted and came back to work for me - 1-0 to Gino! Now my other PASSION, is theatre and working with the Erinsborough Amateur Players lets me express myself to the public. However on my first production of Camelot, I had to borrow Joe Scully to make the sets for me (the big butch man that he is) but he insisted he didnt want to mix with us mincers, but in the end he loved it :P (2-0 to Gino) I also do a bit of wedding planning and did Karl and Susan's second wedding but they were too dull for my flair, I saw butterflies, fireworks and ballerinas but they didnt agree, but I forced them (3-0 to gino). After splitting up with Aaron I moved in with Harold and it was great, we love theatre, vegetarianism and musicals, but he didnt appreciate my feng shui and my female bust sculpture, he covered her (doris) up with a tea towel! Then he tried his hardest to make me move out by doing things I dislike such as bringing in Valda's poodles, but they were so cute and when I put ribbons on them they looked wonderful. Then he dressed like Rab C Nesbitt for a while which I quite liked but the final straw was when he started cooking meat in the house, I amsolutely cannot abide by meat, so I left. I made a mess of someones hair and she took me to court but I didnt have Jerrod as my lawyer bcause his house is such a mess. I'm godfather to Ozzy Scully, which I came to be by telling Joe a sob story about not having my own kids, he's soft at heart. I had the church all done out with flowers for the baby and bought him better gifts than Harold. When me and Lou spent time together at one point, Harold got very jealous and upset. Then my blackest day, when Boyd Hoyland thought I was 'coming on' to him, this really upset me and damaged my reputation, but Boyd appologised and said he was wrong and all was forgotton. So here I am in 2006, still owning the salon and working hard. I've got a new theatre production going on now, with Ned Parker as the lead role, but he can't read so I've changed the script to be about his life and now I can't find a female part. Elle can't dance very well, although she is a pretty girl and there is some chemistry there with Ned, but I think Sky will be the one as she danced for Grease Monkeys before so has musical experience! The play is going to be fantastic and I can't wait!
