Greenwich Meantime

...and it just keeps getting better and better...

About Me

Greenwich Meantime has quickly become a familiar name on the North American Celtic and World Music scene and for good reason. They are a colorful and exiting group of young musicians gifted with creativity, musical talent, and good humor. With growing crowds at every performance and a show that is ever changing, GMT are hitting their stride. Now in their sophomore year, the band has just released the follow up to their 2006 critically acclaimed debut CD. The band is currently on tour in support of the newly minted Proof which was released earlier this year.
2007 will see the band play many of the Northeast’s Celtic festivals and Theatres, and doing concert series appearances. Their music has also been included on a compilation CD called Rootstomp along side artists such as Enter the Haggis, Seven Nations, and The Prodigals which was released in August of 2007.
“The Proof is in the pudding. It's definitely Greenwich Meantime. There's a toe-tapping, get-you-on-the-dance-floor drive to it, coupled with Celtic soul and strong vocals…. lots of fun, but in a more grown-up way.” Kathleen Hay Cornwall Standard Freeholder
“We in Ann Arbor are lucky to have a border-state seat from which we can spot new developments in Canada's remarkable collection of Celtic bands, and Greenwich Meantime is unusually promising.” James M. Manheim Ann Arbor Observer
