I saw you the very first time built so pretty you looked just right it was love at first sight I looked real close I touched your arm my heart went off like a fire alarm I was amplifiedSomething happens when I hold you in my hands I'm a different man something happens and I lose all sense of time I can almost flyEvery time I go to pick you up I feel a little spark in my fingertips I'm electrified the magic touch you feel so good the way you respond to everything I do I'm magnetizedSomething happens when I hold you in my hands I'm a different man something happens and I lose all sense of time I can almost flyI love your back, I love your head but I love it best when I run my fingers down your neck-Adrian Belew
Adrian Belew, John Petrucci, Fairuza Balk, Peter Gabriel, Sasquatch, half the people in my friends list...ONLY half. ..
Adrian Belew. I really wish I'd discovered King Crimson instead of Pink Floyd; Gilmour's influence is unmistakeable in my playing, but the darkness of Pink Floyd's music has been unmistakeable in my life schema for thirty years; I'd love to see where I'd be if I'd devoted my attention to music that was less angst-laden. Generally, for a song to make my iPod, it needs to Rheally Rhock and be a little guitar-heavy, but I love Celtic Rock as well. Bagpipes really turn my crank, especially when they're played in unison with a heavily distorted guitar.
The Big White. Eight Heads in a Duffel Bag. Sean of the Dead. This Is Spinal Tap. Anything Monty Python.
I really enjoy Northern Exposure, but that went off a while back, didn't it? I'm also pretty easy to find when there's a Seahawks game on.
Irv Yalom is far and away the best writer I've ever read. I love his novels, "When Nietzsche Wept," "The Schopenhauer Cure" and "Lying on the Couch." His textbooks are similarly fascinating and profoundly well-written.
Rachel Brown, Harold Cadd, and Adrian Belew.
