Man On Fire

About Me

Although Man On Fire was officially introduced to the world through the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut CD in 1998, it was their sophomore effort, "The Undefined Design," released in 2003, which established the band as a unique and powerful new voice in modern rock. Featuring special guest David Ragsdale (Kansas, Smashing Pumpkins) on violin, this CD quickly rose to become one of their label's best selling releases to date.
Guitar legend Adrian Belew was the primary guitarist for the 2005 release by Man on Fire, a concept album entitled "Habitat." Adrian's signature style is all over this release, providing a stunning array of searing solos and unique textural soundscapes to the recordings.
In addition to the contributions from Adrian Belew, "Habitat" features the amazing artistry of Kansas violinist David Ragsdale, who returned to add an intoxicating combination of gorgeous, melodic atmosphere and fierce technical virtuosity to the tracks on which he performed. The final mixes of "Habitat" were mastered by veteran mastering engineer Brad Blackwood (Evanescence).
Man on Fire is currently in the studio, working on material for their upcoming CD, "In a Sense," which will be released in early 2009.
