Welcome to the official PBC Enterprizes Myspace site. PBC Enterprizes is an independent label operating out of Montreal, Canada with credits going back to the '90's. The label was founded by two groups from the local hip-hop scene respectively known as Eaux2Mely & Genocyde. Eaux2mely burst on to the local hip-hop scene in 1997 being among the province's most influential groups showcasing lyrical ability, entrepreneurialism, and versatility in their music. They paved the way for much of the liberal, eye-opening hip-hop that is readily common in today's industry.They are best known for their promotional mixtape entitled ''Promeaux'' which came out circa 1999 as well as for their work on the compilations ''Montrealité 1 & 2 with songs like ''Haine Profonde''. Genocyde, who at the time were named "O.D.A. (On Dat Azz Entertainment) were their protegés in the game, appearing at many shows alongside Eaux2Mely from '98-2001. In 2001, one of the group members Ka$heem, was held on trial for certain crimes and judged by his lyrics on his 2001 debut "Ange ou Démon" which was fairly successful in the province of Quebec and in France. He has since, been incarcerated at Donnaconna federal penitentiary and is slated to be released for Spring 2007. Genocyde, which consists of a multilingual group mixing English, Spanish, French & Creole has kept recording underground singles & collaborations while trying not to get sucked up into the realities of street life. PBC Enterprizes, often compared but never duplicated, due to clever rhyme schemes, witty wordplay, & hardcore Golden Era style of rhyming, is an indie label based especially on the advancement of the local Hip-Hop scene without having to compromise artistic freedom or fall prey to the oversaturated new wave of carbon copy MC's. From community center shows to 2 Hot 2 Handle at Café Campus, these artists have shown steady growth for the past decade staying true to their original art form. à Montréal, QC,Can. Le Label a été fonder par des pionniers du rap au Québec : Kam et Radjah d’Eaux2mély, Genocyde et associées. Eaux2mély est un groupe actif depuis 1997 dans la scène Hip-Hop. Ces entrepreneurs ont influencée plusieurs formations, avec leur style original, leur concept unique, et leur discipline
Leurs musique traite sur plusieurs sujets de la réalité d’aujourd’hui et leur discours moralisateur offre à l’auditeur une bonne écoute. Eaux2mély on faite un boum
dans l’industrie avec la sorti de Promeaux (mixtape/magzine sonore) 1999. Leur participation à la compilation Montréalité 1 et 2, à l’album de Kasheem et la liste continue, on fait de eux des pionniers du hip-hop au Québec. Les protégés d’Eaux2mély Genocyde connue dans le temps sur (O.D.A On Dat Azz Entertainment) ont également fait leur parcours dans l’industrie depuis 1998 accompagnant ces pionniers dans plusieurs spectacles et tournées à Montréal et les environs. Genocyde est un groupe multiethnique qui offre
une variété dans leur chansons (francais, anglais, espagnol et créole) Kasheem
d’Eaux2mély à sortie son premier album Ange ou Démon en 2001. Son succès s’est fait
vite sentir au Québec et en France. Mais le système carcérale a eu raison sur ce talent controversé en 2001 quand il a recu une sentence de 7 ans de pénitencier ferme.
Ce clan est reconnu pour être parmi les groupes les plus influentiels au Quebec par l'industrie urbaine dû a leurs métaphores, jeux de mots, rimes
et leur énergie en studio et sur scene. PBC, label indépendant , a pour but principal de faire avancé la scène locale à un autre niveau et de faire valorisé le talent locale a une échelle internationale Des spectacles communautaires au 2 hot 2 handle jusqu’à l’ouverture de spectacles d’artistes de calibre internationale (3e Œil, Faf Larage, Tony Touch, Beatnuts) ces artistes ont su laisser leur marque avec une liste de projets divertissants et crédibles durant ces 10 ans passé et on prouver que derrière
chaque artiste se trouve un entrepreneur. PBC Enterprize croit en un avenir prochain du hip-hop au Québec à l’échelle internationale et rappel au artisan que le talent ne vaut rien sans la dicipline.
