About Me

The Magnificuntz is an ongoing progect involving the collaberation of many different musicians over what seems like a long span of time. The Magnificuntz progect started back in 1997 with myself, John Bartnicki aka Evers Io. The idea of the Magnificuntz was musical invention in it's purest form. The unveiling of the musical sub-concious. To be Zappa-esque. But all of that went out the window with the help of computer-based recording. For 8 years (1997-2004) I wrote and recorded Magzs material with friends in Austin, TX. That was a lot of fun and some good songs were produced, but never released. Speorg and I began working on the Magnificuntz together in 2005 and produced "Borderline Schizophonic" the Magz first release. We had jammed together before in other bands. Cutting our teeth touring and playing all over Texas from 1991-96. All of the tracks on "Borderline Schizophonic" were recorded and engineered in 2005 at Safety Bullets Recording Studio by Dana Grubbs. Except, Feed Your Pink. Which was recorded and produced at Labelless Productions by Phelix Caban. "Roadkill" features a special MC guest appearance by DA NATRIX a.k.a. MC NATE O DEEZY. "Feed Your Pink" features special MC guest appearance by THE AGGITATOR.Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0
