Friends: People who are self aware yet selfless. People who live God's love. People who snort when they laugh. People who can make going to the bank or the grocery store an adventure. People who show love unabashedly to the people in their lives. Talkers. Listeners. People who read "a shot in the dark" hoping to one day recognize themselves being described. People who smile and make eye contact with people they don't know. People who hate tv but can't seem to not watch it... People who notice and appreciate the beauty in the world around them. People who have thought that they were completely crazy at some point; I tend to trust them more. And old friends I've lost touch with.

I'm ALWAYS reading at least one or two books at a time. I LOVE words and language....The Bible, ANYTHING by C.S. Lewis... Hemingway, Nick Hornby, Bukowski, Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut, Albert Camus, Jane Hamilton, John Irving, Billy Collins (poetry), Joyce Meyer, Charles Stanley ... I just started reading Heaven by Randy C. Alcorn. My tastes are all over the place and there are too many to name. I mostly dig on books about religion, spirituality, psychology, design and culture. I always feel like I should read more fiction...
Jesus. My Daddy.
