Don't really watch much TV these days, but my fave's include Lost, The Contender, Firefly, Friends, Spaced, and one of the funniest shows of all time... Scrubs. Message to Joss Whedon: Bring back Firefly! Your best show (not knocking Buffy or Angel) and it lasts one series and a film. What the F***s up with that?
Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, Stephen King; especially the dark tower series, Clive Barker's weaveworld, Harry Potter, Anne Mcaffrey's Dragons of Pern series, Neil Gaimen's American Gods, Anansi Boys, Neverwhere, Good Omens (great collaboration with Pratchett... inspired) and Sandman graphic novels, Garth Ennis' Preacher.
