About Me

Hey, we've been getting a lot of great "press" lately! If you're bored, need something to read, and have been wondering what the band's been up to, take a moment to check out these links.
Local reporter and friend to the band, Vanessa Perez, has written an incredible review of our recent show on December 27 at House of Rock. Click the banner to check it out.
Corpus Christi Caller Times' Richard Guerrero was kind enough to interview Oscar and me and recently posted it on his "Amped Up!" blog space. Click the pic to read!
Also, one of our long time supporters, The Corpus Critic has written a blog review about us. Click here to read it.
She will also be writing a feature on the group due very soon!
Thanks again. To the guys at KRTU 97.1 San Antonio and all the fans, We really appreciate all the support. :) CLICK THE PIC...

Fauna Noir was created by Will Taylor after many aborted efforts at bands through the years. It started as a concept of singing for the sake of singing and not letting the genre decide your direction. It was decided that whatever was to come out was right because it was automatic and came from a deeper source. Fauna Noir then grew with the addition of Eric Garcia (Guitar, Vocals) Isidro Garza (percussion) and Tony Duran (Bass) who we unfortunately lost earlier this year to good terms. We are happy with what we have started it has gained momentum and, more importantly, the ears of people who miss the spontaneous unpredictability of singing from the heart and not the pocket.

One very crucial piece of info that didn't make it into the first draft of this bio was the outstanding help and ideas from Communal Death Duck. *I personally apologize Nobz, Jack and Jill. We are working out bugs as we go* Without their help and reassurance during some very doubty periods Fauna might have never taken off the ground. I have always looked up to them. Without a doubt they were one of the first bands down here to brave the music scene with something different and inspired. For that more inspired music is showing itself. Thanks more than you will ever know Dux.Will
