CanJa Sounds was founded and operated by engineer/bassist Kevin L Brown aka Spyda. His experience and background has finally allowed him to establish CanJa Sounds goal of producing and recording new and innovative music. CanJa Sounds, over the years, has established working relationships with up and coming producers and record labels of all genres. With a growing reputation for quality music production, CanJa Sounds set a new standard for quality in reggae and dancehall music production and positioned itself as a player within the industry.

CanJa Sounds had the opportunity to work with and/or have material recorded by a number of established and new artistes. Over a very short period of time, CanJa Sounds established various working relationships with other producers and labels within the industry. From these opportunities, new and fresh material had been released to the public in Jamaica, Canada, United States and Europe.
