Aside from loving art, the beauty, the skill, and the power in art, I paint because I have to. There is a gravity pressing on my chest when I go to long without painting. I wish to paint my heart away in every stroke, when I pick up a brush. I wish to paint things that will make people feel, think or disappear for their moment. When I start to paint I have an idea of what I want to paint, what ever it may be, it could be anything, people, places, ideas, things that are going on in my life. I am self-taught so there is no patter or system I follow when I paint. I am constantly learning as I paint, so the only pattern is the patter of constant change with every stoke of every painting. My current work is on my exploration of color, brightness and the dark.
