About Me

No stranger to the media, singer/songwriter Kezi Silverstone's album 'Whatever it takes' is released.
You can download it at iTunes or Napster.
Or order the CD NOW at Play.com , Virgin Megastores
This twelve track album, produced by Dan Frampton (Dido/Natasha Beddingfield/Will Young/Blue/Westlife/Amy Studt/Lionel Ritchie), Oskar Paul (Depeche Mode/Seal/S Club/Will Young), Stuart Epps (Elton John/Robbie Williams/Bill Wyman/Chris Rea/Twisted Sister/Led Zeppelin), Ian Catt (St Etienne/Trembling Blue Stars) and herself, is a blend of acoustic, guitar pop, an occasional hint of rock and a tiny droplet of country. Producing a thoroughly grown up sound this artist is a singer/songwriter with great depth and passion. As a live artist she has performed at venues such as Shepherds Bush Empire, Birmingham Academy and Glasgow Stadium.
Kezi's immediate family reside on the east and west coast of America, however, Kezi herself is predominantly based in England.
The former Face of Lynx Faberge has spent the last few years working with various accomplished writers and producers nurturing her style and her writing and production skills. She worked hard on her debut album in-between modeling endorsements and guest appearances on television including the award-winning Jonathan Creek.
Theatre acting remains in her heart and was indeed the starting point for Kezi's career. Whilst she often misses her theatre roots, her music takes precedence and has done for many years.
Kezi has worked with top ten writers including Tom Nichols (Kylie/All Saints/Hall & Oats/Celine Dion/Tom Jones), Alex Von Soos (All Saints), Simon Tauber (Gina G) and has been invited to work with Chicago based writer/producer Mark Picciotti (T.A.T.U/Shakira/Madonna/Michael Jackson/Mary J Blige) amongst others.
'This Is Who I Am' written by Kezi, Tom Nichols and Alex Von Soos and produced by Oskar Paul and Rick Baraclough achieved great acclaim across the airways with more than 30 playlistings. This was an introduction to Kezi the real singer songwriter and instigated many live performances with her talented band, including Live & Loud, Glasgow stadium (30,000 people) alongside acts including Blue, Darius, The Sugarbabes, Danni Minogue and Mark Owen.
Kezi also appeared as special guest of Matt Goss (formerly Bros) on his UK Tour, which included performances at Bristol Academy, Birmingham Academy, Manchester Academy and Shepherds Bush Empire. She has headlined at The Borderline & Café De Paris in London's West End and was selected from 600 acts to travel to China to perform for BBC World.
She has performed acoustically on many radio stations including Schoolys show on Capital FM, Mathew Wrights LBC prime time show and The Sadie Nine Show on BBC London. Most recently Kezi was invited to perform a live unplugged set on the legendary Dave Lee Travis show on BBC Three Counties. The reactions to her performances have been outstanding. Other acoustic/live performances are currently being scheduled.
Kezi has graced the pages of many national and international newspapers and magazines including The Daily Mail, Hello Magazine, OK!, The Independent & The Mail on Sunday . She has also appeared/performed on high profile TV shows and continues to be invited to do so.
Kezi is an official supporter of Barnardos and Patron of the Friends Of Animals League (F.O.A.L). Kezi was herself in the care of Barnardos as a young child. The company of animals changed her life and as she has grown, so has her concern for their welfare. After many years in care, she was delighted to be reunited with her natural family in America 18 years ago.
She almost single-handedly staged a charity awareness/fundraising event for Barnardos and Friends of animals league in Londons West End, which incorporated a live concert. The campaign attracted national television and national press. She was invited to appear on This Morning (ITV) with Lorraine Kelly and Philip Schofield to talk about her event and as a result has been invited to come back and perform for them.
'Angel' one of the tracks from her album 'Whatever it takes' features on the American feature film 'Cosmic Radio', written and directed by Stephen Savage (Lunatopia Productions) and produced by Velocity Pictures. 'Cosmic Radio' stars Wes Studi (Last Of The Mohicans/Heat), Irene Bedard (Pocahantas), Taboo (Black Eyed Peas) Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs/Sin City/Kill Bill), Ricardo Chavira (Desperate Housewives/Six Feet Under). The movie premiered at The Palm Springs Film Festival on January 5th this year. 'Angel' also features on upcoming American feature film '"Revamped" which is due for release very soon.
This year, Kezi has plans to dedicate herself to writing more songs for her own project and in addition for television and film. She hopes to collaborate with several acclaimed writer/producers both in the UK and the United States. She also has plans to tour.
