About Me

Wow. How general! The only thing I am sure of when it comes to me is that I am everchanging, growth is central to my interests and all you need is love. The rest all comes in grey, which if it's worth something to you, is my favourite colour. Visually and metaphorically. Music is my spouse and dance is my lover. I am bowled over by those brave enough to admit their short comings. I am terrible at video games and getting back to people. I am lucky. I am happy.

My Interests

In no particular order..................metaphysics/ music/ red wine/ lovemaking/ children/ sorrow/ Fear vs love/ languages/ literature/ fitness/ Dancing dancing dancing/ creative people/ and anything really worth knowing.......that I haven't already figured out.

I'd like to meet:

Dagny Taggart, Mozart, Jesus, Hitler, My worst enemy, My eighty year old self and anyone that could teach me a thing or two.

Music:

The delightful ms Tori amos, I cut my teeth on Ani Difranco, adore Damien Rice, thank god for Lauryn Hill. what the hell would we do without Rage Against the Machine? Have you heard the Postal Service? You should get that shit! Never forget the genius of Stevie wonder, Janet and Micheal (however lost he might have become) ..................................... sorry but shameless plugging has to happen. I am, in my own unique way, absolutely in love with each of the musicians in my band, porcelain. Forgive me, but they never cease to astound me and it's an honour to play along side them. Imagine being in a band with your favourite people and musicians. I live it. I love it.

Movies:

Oh god I'm awful with these! I find it impossible to sit still for more than two hours unless it's gonna change my life! I.E. Dancer in the dark, Schindler's list, The Shawshank Redemption, Requiem for a dream, American Beauty, Natural born killers etc

Television:

Made a commitment about a year ago not to turn it on unless I was gonna learn something. I try at all costs to avoid watching or reading the news. Such a sickening, depressing pack of lies

Books:

Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" changed my life. Jeanette Winterson's "Written On the Body" is special to me. I didn't think literature like that existed anymore. Read it if you miss Austen and Hardy. She makes language mechanical and mathematics poetic. Brilliance

Heroes:

My Mother and Father, The unparalleled Anna Christine Dees, My Balls to the wall baby sister Hayley, My writing partner and spiritual high fiver Ben. My superwoman best friend ALEYNA.
