Beyond the darkest side in me

About Me

M.T.F are not merely a standard band for generation heavy. With the 2005 release of "NEW LIFE", the standard has just been pushed aside. Heavy music is, once again, set on fire by a group unafraid to bring forth a brand of music that no one can deny, on the stage or on disc! Heavy Music for the Masses, M.T.F is a four piece band out of Seattle Washington. The band consists of two guitars, vocal, bass guitar and drums. M.T.F was formed in December 1999, and started hitting the venues to play live shows consistently in the great Northwest. Ever since, theyve been layin' down quality music you all expect and deserve with a raw blend of melodic heaviness. The band recorded two demos: Dead Filled Skies" (1999), and "13-20-6" (2000). Word of mouth started to spread quickly and M.T.F found themselves in the position to upgrade their stage performance and their sound. Many member changes later, M.T.F released their first album "WRECKAGE" in 2001 which was recorded and mixed by original member Rob Maeder (vocal/guitar). Wreckage was quickly picked up by an international distribution company Twofatmen Distribution in Europe. This proved to be incentive to keep the project going. In hopes of turning this into a profession, M.T.F is currently looking for a major label to call home. Between the release of "WRECKAGE" in 2001 and their most recent effort, the fourteen track monster of an album entitled "NEW LIFE" in 2005, M.T.F has been playing live shows nonstop to bring quality music to the masses. In that time theyve redefined the art of heavy music. Big plans are in the works for NEW LIFE so keep an eye out. In conclusion, the band would like to add, "Music is our life. We want to see it grow improve and succeed. We want to expose our music throughout the world, because it is to the world that we want to offer our talent, and it is from the world that we want to receive our success." Keep it heavy and as always GETCHA SOME!!!
