Juggermath

Juggermath was conceived in 2003 with the release of the bands first demo EP entitled "In Onslaught Divina". Mixing elements of black and death metal with a mid-eastern flavour, the result was a rough and uncompromising glimpse to the future direction of the band. Soon after Nyarlos joined the ranks, the sound evolved to fit the apocalyptic visionary themes of Somnaeul and vocalist Aghastur, and a new direction was taken. Going into the studio to record the debut release at the the end of 2005 and currently nearing completion, "Pandemis Penultima" aims to radically raise the bar of what is possible from the so-called city of churches. Hauntingly cosmic yet crushingly oppressive, the album continues with that which was only hinted at in the closing minutes of "Onslaught". Featuring 4 tracks yet running at 40 minutes, dramatic renditions of the songs "Transgressing the Virgin Aether", "Of Petitioned Paths Conquered", "Interims of Forthcoming Assailment" and "Betwixt the Mundane Spheres" will be soon released.As of late 2007, there has been a shifting of the multiverse, wherin vocalist Aghastur decided his path lay in other dimensions. So Juggermath is currently conspiring with an unknown astral entity to replace the winds and whispers of past incantations.For this reason, the release of "Pandemis Penultima" has been delayed, but will still become available as a fitting testament to the works of Aghastur.Currently, Juggermath is rehearsing new material to be unleashed as the new incarnation of the band is unveiled.
