Born & Raised in West Oakland, CA. Mobbed Out consists of Young-G, Ronald Mack, & Mone. The group first caught the eye of Lee Majors & Side Industry while they were young, still recording out the basement in High School. Shortly after they joined Lee Majors' "Oakland Ridah Recordz", and began to work on their debut self-titled E.P. Although the project never was released, the group was still given the opportunity to learn more about the business, better their craft, and ultimately network with more artists & producers. While on the label they also got the chance to appear on the "Ghetto Gumbo vol.1" DVD & Soundtrack, which both are in stores now. Now years later & ready to step out on their own, Mobbed Out & producer J.North are working hard on the group's debut album which they plan to release as a joint venture on both of their labels (MOB Status Muzik/N.E.W. Records) sometime in 2008. But in the mean time, you can check out new music from Mobbed Out on their mixtape's & various projects that they've made appearances on.
