With other artist basing their music off of the finest things in life and what luxuries they have, "Mulah" brings some of the realness of everyday life into Hip hop. His style of music is a mix of west coast pop coming from his life in Seattle and a east coast soul coming from his short time living in Maryland for the last couple of years, making his music a unique new style in the game.When asked how important his music was to Seattle Hip hop, he said that he hoped it would make a difference to the people, and added his style to the generations of great artist from the area of Seattle. He defined his music as an art and a way to express his self through good times and bad.Having many musical influences, some of his favorite artist are great rappers such as "Kanye West", "Common", Nas, E-40, The game, rock group Paramore, and Seattle natives Jimmy Hendricks, Sir Mix-a-lot, and Jake One just to name a few. Which makes his ears to music a mixture of rap, pop, and rock.After being asked how he felt about the state of hip hop today, he said "I think that hip hop has been through a lot lately with media and high powered people trying to make it seem like rap artist are all negative, and change the music because of some of the language said in some artist lyrics". He also said that with all that happening, a lot of artist have came together to make hip hop a better place.When asked what can people expect from Mulah and his group Cash On Demand (C.O.D) and new branch HoodSt☆r Fam (H.S.F) movement in the future, he said simply that the fans can expect a new breed of extraordinary artist with different personal styles of music that you could listen to over and over again without getting tired of it. He wishes to be recognized for his musical talents and hunger to make a difference in the hip hop family.
