BRIEF BIOGRAPHY:
E-thereal originally started it's earliest incarnation way back in late 1992 as a crossover of Thrash, Punk and Hardcore band.Through the years, the band had gone through numerous line-up changes and name alteration but managed to survive against all obstacles and odd, thus became one of the longest surviving metal bands in Singapore.Although E-thereal have not yet released any full-length album to date, several demo tapes,singles,EP and compilation appearance had been made and the song
"Hikayat Sulastri", a single contributed in
Urban Karma's debuit album cum compilation in 2001,was the most popular amongst the metal fans.
E-thereal is widely known as one of Singapore's most intense
live metal acts, with it's widely known trademark of killer dual-guitar shredding works infusing intense,brutal,technical,groove and melodic elements.While still maintaining '
Death Metal' as their core musical identity, E-thereal has always been integrating and infusing other genre's of music such 'Progressive Metal,Rock,Thrash,Hardcore,Punk' and even 'Fusion' into it's music.
Currently, E-thereal had stopped gigging and currently rehearsing and concentrating it's effort towards recording it's long awaited full-length album.Originally planned back in 2005, it was abruptedly abandon due to un-avoidable circumstances which the band had faced and was thus halted.Now with a new line-up, E-thereal planned to resume recording mid this year and released it's long awaited full-length album by late 2007.
