SGDM or Singapore Death Metal, was formed by a few underground death metal freaks from different bands. It aims to be the main platform paying tribute to Singapore deathmetal bands, scene, distros and activities of the so-called militia. A musician's guide to deathmetal music which involves scouting talented old or new bands to take part in the annually Singapore DeathFest, hopefully. We at the moment are also working hard for the first
Deathfest in 2007. We aim to bring in at least one foreign band (preferably from Asia) as a guest band in one of our events. Bands like VRYKROLAKAS, CARDIAC NECROPSY, ARBITRARY ELEMENT, NAFRAT, INNARDS DECAY (KL) and MASSECRATION will be opening up this year's event. All the bands mentioned have been actively playing deathmetal music for the past years. More details on the show will be revealed soon. We hope to see more bands in Singapore playing deathmetal. In contrast, the scouting will be in the process every year. So keep on supporting us as much we would try to bring you a good show every year. SGDM also produces its own clothing/merchandise which will be out soon! So keep on shredding! Keep in mind, we are watching..
