THE LIVING WATER SINGERS: [We are a Gospel band that has been traveling and performing for over 20 years.. Playing the best in country gospel!! Opening for such names as the Gaithers, The Nelons & many more We have appeared with the Easter Brothers of Mt.Airy,N.C. Featured in the Peavey Monitor Magazine,Performed live on TCT in Burlington,N.C. several times,Performed at many benefits for cancer patients,for March of Dimes,for Fire stations,Nursing Homes,and much more. ] * My dream is that other people will sing my songs. *Some Personal info about Gene and his interests:Gene likes western cut blue Genes and western shirts and boots.He also pumps iron, and body builds.Gene collects old western comics & He has a huge collection of movies,mostly westerns.He also has documentary films covering subjects ranging from crime & criminals,the Holocaust,wildlife,and more.He has many religious,Christian films.He's what people call, " a jack of all trades" .He's done roofing, carpentry,painting,auto repair,minor plumbing repair,laying floor tile,and more He's a real handy man around the house.Gene is a good cook also.He likes oldie rock & roll and oldie country.Favorite female star is Doris Day.Watches classic tv westerns all the time.Few favorite movies include ,Heaven Can Wait; Bonnie And Clyde;Anger Management.Also has many home movies of his family and of the Living Water Singers.Gene preached for twelve years,pastoring a small mission.

Influences: Johnny Cash was a big influence when I was learning music as a teen. I like country music.Also Gospel singing groups influenced me,after becoming a Christian.Most of all,I loved the church choir.They sang with joy,and a fervor of spirit.There was such a shine in those faces.That was what cemented me with that church - the great choir.I later began to play guitar in the church and with a church group.I can't read sheet music,I play by ear.I play lead and sing lead also,write a lot of the groups material.My wife was the biggest influence in getting me in church and encouraging me to use my talents for the Lord.And she has been by my side as my biggest fan and helper. My mama - my greatest influence and very best friend.
Sounds Like: Country Gospel with a different sound.We have our own unique style. Everyone seems to like our music when coming to our concerts and we have aquired some fans.Take a listen and enjoy,be blessed.
