About Me
I love country living because that’s where I grew up. I can’t get used to the city because of all the noise.
I like the outdoor life, nature and everything that goes with it. I’m down to earth, don’t like people who lie, cheat or steal. Honesty is very important to me. With me, what you see is what you get. I don’t put on a show for anyone. I think everyone should be more like that instead of playing head games. I’d rather play board games or computer games. I’m a people person and enjoy a good conversation with someone.
Christmas is my favorite time of year, I’m like a little kid at heart. I really like a good snow storm, I get right out there and shovel everyone out. I don’t like shopping for anything, but force myself to go to the mall to pick up what I need.
I have one cat, Fluffy, I had another one (Patches) but had to put her to sleep this year as she got cancer. That broke my heart. I’ll do anything for an animal. Just call me Dr. Doolittle, I have a great bond with them. They seem to understand me and respond to me. I’m talking about wild animals. I have an aquarium, just love having fish!
I don’t like having my picture taken. I seem to freeze in front of the camera, therefore I’m not photogenic. I’ve been like that all my life. A couple of things that I don’t like are Politicians, taxes, and wars. They’re all useless things.
Things that interest me are sports, such as wrestling, (WWE) figure skating, Hockey, the Maple Leafs being my favorite team, but I think they need to start from scratch in order to play a decent game. I enjoy all winter sports. I get right into jig saw puzzles, I like to dance, especially ball room and jiving.. Bingo’s great, especially when you win. I also like to play cards, poker being my favorite game. Car and truck races always were good times. Music wise, I like most of it except Hip-Hop and jazz. I really love rock and metal. I don’t mind a bit of Country music. Of course the 50’s & early 60’s music was the best, next was the 80’s. I'm the president of the Kenny MacInnis fansite too, he's a local musician and friend of mine. Come join the fansite.
I have one daughter who is great and two grandkids, one of each, 18 and 14. Terrific kids. They bring a lot into my life. I like kids as long as they’re well behaved.
I could write about 50 pages, but I think this’ll do it for now.
