The ever-crusading passionate MacVandal, battered and abused by the corporate rule of the western world... to be returning with his next CD to be dropped later in '07, MAYBE... I've lost faith in Hiphop recently....... The epimethious of the language and imagery it has portrayed has been giving power to the world forces who have been suppressing ghettos and Afro-american culture by promoting addiction and mindless self-indulgeance...... Why would I want to be part of that? I object and oppose lyrically, I bring a positive vibe to URBAN music (K-Os himself told my fassy ex-producer to cut me outta Analog 'cause I'm white) which I will whole-heartedly embrace as a new label to my creations................. I'm supposed to be in Amsterdam, but I'd be in jail for workin' illegaly... so I'm stuck in the monotony of southern Ontario! Although arguably the best place on the planet to live, I like excitement, not drama.......... I'm a globally conscious Canadian........... Politically aware. Adjacent to pop-culture and juxtasuppose conformity. Worldly was a decade ago................. The women in my life seem not to live up to their own expectations and become inwardly depressed... life is to be enjoyed, not stressed over, I cannot stress enough. lol. I've become a novelty in my university town, through female insecurities... isn't that fascinating.............. I've been loved, have loved, saw sunsets glow.... yeah, Col. John McCrae lived right here in my home town. Perhaps it is this particular energy field that truly ignited the poet's creative mind. Meh, if so we wouldn't have to put up with fools such as the likes of Optikz and Tykus......
I'm a street poet.............. Not one of those out-of-University-hippi-wannabes who majored in english.................. I've been homeless, starving, I worked at a Drop-In centre for food............... after I was hit by a truck and my heart stopped for over 7 minutes in '96.................. I died, and my entire life changed...................... I lost scholarships, opportunity, and Hiphop saved my lost soul...................
Religionless since birth, perhaps that's why I didn't die for good...................
