Joy Crowers

Joy Crowers is a classically-trained singer with a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from West Chester University. She is a Singer/Songwriter/Producer and is in the process of recording her first album titled These Games. She is a published writer who first started writing poetry at the age of 9. She began composing and performing at 15 and went on to study music at the professional level at age 18, after passing very competive auditions at both Wilkes University and at 19, West Chester University. In 1998, she met her match in the brilliantly talented mind of pianist and songwriter, Brian Kelly and the two have been inseparable since, writing mind blowing music, unconventional progressions, and rendering passion and vulnerability as if they were puppets on strings. The songs of These Games are autobiographical and speak volumes of the mental "games" we play; with each other and with ourselves. When asked what she hope to accomplish with this album, Joy stated, "I want to heal people through music; to provide a venue where empathy and understanding prevail. I want to change the way people think about life, about love, about themselves. I want to redefine a whole culture of music; to create an entire genre of expression just so people can categorize me. I want to change the world."Current Projects:In the studio, working with the multi-talented producer DJ Slice, on debut album "These Games."
