Akua is an .. magazine. It is a simple blend of Womanism, Creativity and BBW Flair. I am the owner, Shanise B. I am accepting contributions from artist. This is a non-profit magazine, so your participation would be on a volunteer basis. Of course, you can use any work that you do with the magazine as a reference. If you are interested, send a brief bio and what type of contribution you have to [email protected]. NO ATTACHMENTS PLEASE !!!!!!!!

Are you interested in submitting work to Akua Magazine
Here are the guidelines for submissions:
1. All submissions are to be sent to [email protected];
2. All submissions must be in by the 1st of the month, to be considered for that month's issue;
3. All submissions received after the 1st will be considered for the next month's issue;
4. All submissions must be your own;
5. All submissions must have a brief bio;
6. Acceptable submissions are creative writings, news, commentaries or essays (no gossip) & art;
7. All submissions are made on a voluntary basis;
8. Please edit your submissions;
9. You will receive written confirmation, if you submission is selected to appear in an issue;
10. For each submission, a consent form must returned;
11. NO ATTACHMENTS PLEASE!!!!!!!
