I like pina coladas, gettin' caught in the rain. Seriously, I like fishing, shopping, hanging out with friends, poker, and just having fun!
I've had the privilege to meet some great people (thanks to a dear friend)- including Bret Michaels and Poison (on several occasions-you know you've arrived when Bret Michaels remembers you the following year after your first meeting...)and John Mellencamp, but the Holy Grail would be Aerosmith. They have been my favorite group since, well, forever. I WAS in the very front at an Aerosmith concert, and even had Joey Kramer, the drummer, give me a drumstick, and the aforementioned dear friend got me a personalized, autographed CD, so I have been blessed more than most. I have truly loved them a long time, and I think it can seriously be traced back to the fact that my mother attended a concert in 1974 in which Aerosmith opened for REO Speedwagon. Not long after that she found out she was pregnant with me, and was pregnant while at the concert...so my love for Steven and the boys apparently goes waaaaaaaay back.
Well this will be a diverse list...here goes. I LOVE George Strait and a very limited amount of country...very limited. And we've already established that I LOVE Aerosmith. I love Jimmy Buffett! John Mellencamp, Elton John, Billy Joel, Barry Manilow (yes, I love him...let the laughter begin!), Poison, Sheryl Crow, James Taylor, John Mayer, and Bon Jovi are all enjoyable. Love Chris Daughtry. Love the Eagles. I HATE the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, U2, Sting/The Police & The Dave Matthews Band. I love 80's & Disco. I like Cher...don't know why, really, but I do. I think Madonna is highly overrated (and where did that British accent come from???) I don't like rap, and yet, everytime I hear "Golddigger" by Kanye West, it's stuck in my head for days!!! I love Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, and even love Luciano Pavarotti--yes, kids, that's right...I like opera. I love local live music...you can find my faves on my friends' list. I like ALMOST anything but rarely listen to the radio anymore and prefer instead to listen to CD's. Perhaps I killed the radio star??
Love Chick Flicks-if it's got Julia Roberts or Sandra Bullock in it, odds are it's a fave-raunchy comedies (American Pie, etc.), drama, action. My all time favorite movie is "Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar". I absolutely LOVE that movie. My other favorite movies are the first two Superman movies and Superman Returns (3 & 4 blew). I love Mel Brooks-Young Frankenstein is a must see, over and over again! Blazing Saddles is great too! Anything with Bruce Willis in it is a must see. Oh, Sixteen Candles and Footloose and Ferris Bueller ("Bueller, Bueller")...those were soooo good! Napoleon Dynamite was great too, you don't have to think to watch it...and I could quote it all day! Any of Christopher Guest's movies are always great. Musicals are awesome-Sound of Music, My Fair Lady-wonderful. Although I don't have kids, I enjoy Disney-and I loved Finding Nemo and Shrek 1 & 2. I love anything with Sam Elliott in it-F.I.N.E!!! Same Time, Next Year is a wonderful movie!!!
Medium, Til Death, Pushing Daisies, Samantha Who, Law & Order: SVU & Criminal Intent, and The Riches are my current faves. I loved Golden Girls, Designing Women, Sex and the City, Will & Grace, and Frasier, and watch those reruns all the time (thank God for Lifetime & DVDs!!). I LOVED Moonlighting (that's when I knew Bruce Willis was the bomb!). I also like M*A*S*H reruns. I've watched Days of our Lives for, um, about 27 of my 32 years. It's a sickness...what can I say? As far as Reality TV goes, I love, love, love Dancing With the Stars and am starting to watch Rock of Love. I also love watching Nascar and on Sundays you can usually find me rooting for Kasey Kahne and Kyle Petty. GO KASEY!!

I loved all three of George Carlin's books-the man is hilarious! I also enjoyed both of Ellen Degeneres' books and a very obscure book by Danielle Steel, called "The Promise". I really loved "I Love You, Ronnie" by Nancy Reagan. It was her personal collection of love letters from President Reagan to her. Whether you are democrat or republican, it's a wonderful, romantic book.
The men and women who have faught and are fighting for our country and any single mother (or father, for that matter).
