Music, men, burlesque and dancing.Geraldine
People a bit left of centre. My hero's Gonzo from the Muppets cos he's a one of a kind freak, which says it all really. Otherwise, I'm not one for restricting myself.
SeeqPod Music beta - Playable SearchOkay, I'm going through what's on me mp3:
Arctic Monkeys, Automatic, Big Face, Boy Kill Boy (might delete them now), Britney, Christina, Cut Copy, Datarock (may delete them too), Faithless, Fratellis, Girls Aloud, Gwen Stefani, Hip Parade, Hot Chip, Infadels, Justice, Justin Timberlake, Kasabian, Klaxons, Latonic (love them! lovely boys!), LCD Soundsystem, Louis xiv, Mansun (rediscovered my love for them), Marilyn Manson, Mika, MSTRKRFT, My Ruin, My:Audio, Newvolution,Placebo, Primal Scream, Shit Disco, Simian Mobile Disco (can't wait til the album drops), Sinbad's Unbelievable Revolution, South Central, Station X (excellent tunes that boy writes), The Cinematics, The Cooper Temple Clause, The Gossip, The Killers, The Oldboy, The Pussycat Dolls, The Rapture, The Retrosexuals (wheee, they're ace!), The Subways, The Sunshine Underground, The View, The Whip (soo going to see them at the arches), Tom Young (fantastic dj, love his ethos), Uncle Buck (MASH UP KINGS!!!!!!!), Union of Knives (they've still got the edge. Ha ha, see what I did there?), Veto Silver, Viva Stereo (ello Stu), We Are Scientists, White Rose Movement, ooh that's it! I've scrolled to the end!
I also love the Doors, and the Kinks. Ooh I do love the Kinks.
Any Muppet movie ever! Love the Muppets. Anything with Johnny Depp cos the man's a legend, and not exactly nasty on the eye. Ooh I love that man. Can't wait to see the new Pirates movie. I need to watch the first two again though, to ehm, refresh my memory! To be honest, I'd rather read a book. And any movie version of a book's always a let down. I want to see Perfume though, read that ages ago, and it was really good, if a bit sick.
Not much really, I'd rather read! Did get sucked into Lost though. And some Friday night TV's not bad sometimes. The only things I really watch are documentaries, historical stuff and arty farty programmes. Although I thought Planet Earth has been mindblowing, but I prefer the aminal bits!
Oooh hoo hoo too many to go into. To be honest, I read so much I can't remember what I've read like a week later. I love Adriana Trigiani, Tracy Chevalier, Jodi Picoult (she's amazing), Joanne Harris (god I'm on the female-writers trip here!). I've realised I've got a fascination with books about prostitutes an all. Really enjoyed Diary of a Manhattan Call Girl and the sequel, filthy filthy! But the Belle de Jour books are even filthier! She does things the American one'd never do! And I think the smuttiest book I've read recently is Girl With A One Track Mind, by Abby Lee. It's all about a girl's sex blogs and ohmy is it rude. If you flick it open randomly I'll bet ya there's some form of filth or another on the page. It were great though. To be honest I'll read anything. Except fantasy and sci-fi- best not get me started on that. Although I've got hunners of Anne Rice books. I do like scary books, more so than the movies, except they can scare me just as much. IT scared the poo out of me.
Okay, I'm being ruthless now. Caravaggio, and Dita von Teese.
