Poynt Blak (Person Of The Yoruba Nubian Tribe Blak Lyrical African King), a solo artist deriving from the East end of London, has developed a reputation for delivering rough, simple but introspective lyrics over various types of production on the UK Hip-Hop environment.
He has been putting in work on different projects with Tha 4orce (Mind The Gap Productions) since 1996 and has continued to do so up to date with their most recent project being Tha 4orce and Poynt Blak Imagine... Mix CD recently hitting the streets Beginning March 2006 (Promo Version) you can look forward to some shows from both artist in summer 2006.
He has also toured 5 months in Italy from Milan right down through to Sicily with the band Casino Royale in the summer of 2004 which led to a small 2 week tour in other parts of Italy in Feb 2005.
In 2002 PB toured the UK (Uni-Fi Tour) Finishing off in the Scala (Kings Cross, London) with Soul Diva Jocelyn Brown And Family, Twinremz, Skorpio The Nemesis, Ayak and the Dreem Teams' Timmi Magic.
2003 saw the birth of Raw Skillz Productionz. Set up by Poynt and friends I.D aka Darren Burke and Nyah, who is no longer in the company Raw Skillz (Real Artist Working Still Kickin' It Live Lyrically Zoned) provides a Platform To Perform and workshops for up and coming artists. R.S.P. are currently working in a school in East London, working towards a show in May 2006 and are also preparing for an Official Raw Skillz Productions launch coming soon.
