The first approach with the drum it has to the age of 13 years, after one short parenthesis from self-taught, Markuz decides to study drum and to learn acquaintances and concepts of drum of its preferred drummers which John Bohnam, Terry Bozzio, Nick Menza, John Tempesta, Mike Portnoy, and attending drum lessons from Mario Zapparoli (Andrea Mingardi, Gli Atroci, Ricky Portera) and subsequently near the Music Accademy of Bologna, from Bruno Farinelli (Elisa, Andrea Mingardi).

It’s professional musical career begins to the age of 15 years with an underground metal band, Basic Dreams, from Bologna, with which it enters in recording studio, after only an activity year. Subsequently Markuz is exhibited to numerous festival and live shows.
During this experience, it collaborates with rock band Nemesi with which it participates to numerous live shows.In the 2000 Markuz collaborates with band the Folder and for some it replaces theirs drummers in some live show.
When in August 2000 Markuz finishes the recordings of the drum for mini-Ep of the Basic Dreams, He decides to leave the band and to form the Kink plan, where beyond playing the drum, he figure like executive composer.From the 2000 Markuz begun to teach drum into a school of music for kids near the "Music Study", where standard the first approaches to the drum to its numerous students.
From many years He collaborates with many Italian band like drummer, drum’s teach, photographer, cameramen.In October I decided to found a new band called Kink, with Link (vox), Max (bass) and Ju (guitars).
Kink become the only one "Space Rock" band in Italy.
During this period I play in a big situation, with MTV, we play on MTV's Supersonic live show with the Cramberries, also with RockTV, where we had play together the better italian bands, likes Folder, Extrema, Guilty Method, Addiction crew, G-Zero ecc...
So I decided , after 5 long years, to change my way, my life and my country...Now I live Uk, where I play with my new band called The Fake Exterior...and the story continues...
