Montague & Capulet are a unique duo from the slums of birmingham city. Mad Micky 2 gunz and Twisted Reverend are a self confessed package of rage and real thorough bred street life in the form of raw lyricism.Their unorthodox approach to the music they love means that they deliver hip hop in a way seldom heared from any other U.K. artist. Although they hate the term "U.K. Hip Hop" their approach represent the streets and so they inadveretantly ipitimise what"U.K. Hip Hop" from the streets is about. In recent times they have been rapidly gaining the admiration and respect of their musical peers for the music they have pioneered in Birmingham city. As a result they have thus far collaborated and the likes of Capriciouz, Moorish Delta 7, WWW Dot, Evolution Entertainment, Grand Entertainment, Baby J, Kellakovsky, Blood brothers and Ransom. Together they are founder and managing director of independant record label Illl City Records, home to a score of other artists. Known in the streets as well as in hip hop circlres, they are respected, feared and admired.
